The Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) Mentoring Program, established in partnership with Ernst & Young (EY) in 2015, is designed to help exceptional female athletes with proven leadership capabilities and experience to further refine, develop, and grow their leadership capacity. Each year, the Foundation competitively selects and pairs up to 25 elite female athletes with IWF leaders and mentors for a high-touch mentoring and training experience.
Having impacted nearly 100 elite women athletes from 24 different countries, 74% of mentees have reported significant professional and personal growth through their program experience.
The 2019 Mentee Class includes 25 participants, representing 23 sports and 7 countries. These young women are exemplary–they are world record holders, Olympians, medal winners, doctors, business women, and so much more. Each of them has ambition and passion and are looking for guidance in becoming stronger leaders.
