Thea Culley is enthusiastic and committed to having a positive influence on the Canadian and global sport landscape. As manager of KidSport BC, a charitable non-profit with the mission to remove financial barriers to sport participation, Thea strives to ensure that no child is left behind. A strong believer of athlete-centered sport, she is currently the Vice President of AthletesCAN, the voice of Canadian national team athletes, and previously served as Treasurer from 2014-2017. Thea ensures that the collective athlete voice is heard as Athlete Director for Field Hockey Canada’s board of directors, a role she has fulfilled since 2009. Before retiring from international competition in 2016, Thea led the Canadian National Field Hockey Team to capture a bronze medal at the 2015 Pan American Games, the first Canadian women’s field hockey team to medal at the Games since 1999. Additional international career highlights include competing in two Pan American Games (2015 and 2011), two Commonwealth Games (2014 and 2010), two Pan American Cups (2013 and 2009) and multiple Olympic and World Cup qualifying events. Thea was Canada’s Top Goal Scorer in both 2015 and 2013 and played 157 senior international matches for Canada making her the fourth most capped all-time women’s player. In 2014 she was inducted into the Trail, BC Home of Champions Hall of Fame. Thea holds a Bachelors of Human Kinetics (BHK) from the University of British Columbia and will be starting her Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) at Queen’s Smith School of Business in the Fall of 2018.

Jill Earthy is the Chief Growth Officer of FrontFundr, an online investment platform connecting entrepreneurs and everyday investors. Jill serves on the Board of Governors for Simon Fraser University, and as Chair of the Women’s Enterprise Centre. She co-chairs We for She, an event creating action for the economic advancement of women. BC Business Magazine named her one of 35 Most Influential Women.
