One of the things that provides respite and relaxation at any time, but even more importantly now, is the pursuit of creative endeavors. Our latest event in our virtual, London-inspired programming will make you think about the creative process in a totally new way.
On May 26, we welcomed Kia Utzon-Frank and Raffaella Baruzzo, in conversation with IWF UK member and London conference co-chair Marty Wikstrom. Kia and Raffaella are business partners with BRIK chocolates, headquartered in London. These fascinating and dynamic women kickstarted a wonderful conversation about creativity, the creative process and how to use procrastination to your advantage.
Award-winning BRIK chocolates is the one-year-old brainchild of Kia and Raffaella. They have created a sustainably focused and agile brand, where ideas and development are the main product, using only natural, good-for-you flavors and colors and minimal waste. BRIK was originally a Pop Up Shop vendor and gift bag donor for the London conference. You can follow them on Instagram at @brik.chocolates.
Originally trained as a goldsmith, Kia soon turned to the world of chocolate. She creates genre-defying designs for clients like Sir Terence Conran, Harry Styles, Tom Dixon and Goop. Raffaella is a specialist in chocolate, confectionery, tea, coffee and spices, as well as a master strategist. She previously worked in sales, operations and business development for luxury brands Rococo and Fortnum & Mason.
