Regional President, Latin America, Danone Dairy
Silvia Davila currently serves as Regional President, Latin America at Danone Dairy. She began her career in 1989 at McDonald's Mexico and later joined the Procter & Gamble in 1992, as part of the Marketing staff. In 2004, she signed with Mars Mexico, where she performed the roles of General Manager for the Chocolate division and General Manager for the Pet division. In 2014, she became Vice President and Global Food Chief Marketing Officer for Mars, based in Belgium. In 2017, she returned to Mexico to work with Danone. Silvia is a member and fellow alumna of the International Women’s Forum, UNITEC Adviser, Junior Achievement Americas Board member and IWF Mexico Treasury. She is also leading an Inclusion & Diversity Group between the Business Coordinating Council in México and the United Nations Global Compact to promote gender equality. Silvia graduated with honors earning a bachelor’s degree in Marketing at UNITEC, then completed an MBA at the ITESM. She took postgraduate courses at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Harvard Business School, and INSEAD.
