Shannon Leininger is a State, Local Government and Education Vice President in the U.S. Public Sector organization for Cisco Systems, Inc., based in Virginia, USA. Shannon is dedicated to working with state and local governments and education in their digital transformation to better protect, serve and educate citizens. To help schools and governments accelerate this journey, Shannon focuses on major technology trends such as mobility, big data, analytics, the Internet of Things and cloud to drive deep reform of services, processes and technologies. Before her current role, Shannon led the Cisco Federal Civilian Market as the Senior Operation Director for U.S. Federal Civilian agencies. In this role, Shannon focused on better access to patient care for veterans, climate change and national security. She has served in numerous roles at Cisco specializing in the high-performance computing market. Prior to joining Cisco in 2007, Shannon held leadership roles at Platform Computing and Ernst and Young Technologies.
Mentorship, talent development and leadership are important to Shannon. She serves as an advisory board member on the Harrisburg University STEM-UP Network, the Public-Sector Inclusion Leadership Team and the Cisco Connected Women Board of Directors and Women in Technology. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University.
Kimberly Archer - IWF DC | Managing Director, Russel Reynolds Associates
Kimberly Archer is a Managing Director at Russell Reynolds Associates, a leading global executive search and leadership advisory firm. She leads the Washington, D.C., office and is the co-leader of the Global Nonprofit Sector. Kimberly recruits CEOs and C-suite executives, and advises boards around leadership assessment and succession in the nonprofit sector. She is also a member of the Corporate Officers sector and focuses on external affairs recruitment, including fundraising and development, corporate communications, marketing, advocacy and policy.
Kimberly has 14 years of international search experience, having joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 2005. Prior, Kimberly worked as a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Development, cultivating corporate alliances in support of programs at one of the nation’s largest public health foundations focused on tobacco prevention and cessation. Before that, she worked in marketing and communications for Avon Products, Inc., with responsibility for the company’s flagship and first retail venture in New York City. Kimberly has also held positions in public relations with Federated Department Stores - Bloomingdale’s, serving as Manager of National Promotions and Special Events.
Kimberly attended Hofstra University, where she earned her BA in psychology. She has also completed the Executive Education Leadership Program at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
