Deputy Chief Counsel
Sarah Massuch is Deputy Chief Counsel within the Platforms & Services Sector of BAE Systems, Inc based in Minnesota. In this role, Sarah oversees all legal and regulatory matters in the Weapon Systems product area, while working closely with the business and the broader legal teams. She leverages her strong background in government contracting to provide counsel on a broad variety of matters including proposals, contract awards, audits, terminations, cure notices, equitable adjustments, proactive resolution of disputes, and more. Most recently, her responsibilities include international projects with India, Japan and the United Kingdom.
Sarah is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (Stout) and received her Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota. She holds a Master's Certificate in Government Contracting from George Washington University School of Business and a Certificate in International Business Negotiations from Hamline University School of Law. She is also a graduate of BAE Systems' 2010 Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) and 2015 Emerging Leaders Program (ELP). Sarah is a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young sons. Sarah embraces the full glory of Minnesota winters with pond hockey, skiing, snowboarding, and winter hiking.
