Maude Leblond - Canada | Managing Director & Head Financial Institutions & Securitization, National Bank Financial Inc.
Maude Leblond is the Head and Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group and Securitization at National Bank Financial (NBF), based in Montreal, Canada. As head of the financial institutions group, she is responsible for advising medium- and large-sized companies operating in the financial services sector in Canada. Maude has worked on a variety of mergers, acquisitions and financing transactions with extensive experience in different sectors of financial services, including asset management, insurance, banking and stock exchanges. She also oversees the securitization activities of the bank, offering asset-backed financing to companies across various industries.
Maude joined NBF in December 2000 as an analyst and has since worked in NBF's Toronto, London and Montreal offices. Maude sits on the board of the Douglas Mental Health University Institute Foundation, whose mission is to finance the development of the Douglas, one of the two hospitals in the Montreal region providing care and services to patients with mental health issues. Maude holds a bachelor’s in communications from l’École des Hautes Études Commerciales de Montreal and a Master of Science in Management with a finance specialization from Queen’s University. She is the mother of three young children.
Jacqui Allard - IWF Canada | EVP, Personal Financing Products, RBC
Jacqui Allard is the Executive Vice President of Personal Financing Products within Personal & Commercial Banking (P&CB) at the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC). She oversees RBC’s consumer lending businesses in Canada, including home equity financing, personal lending and automotive financing. She also oversees RBC’s Caribbean banking businesses across 17 jurisdictions in the region.
Jacqui was previously Senior Vice President of Strategy, Performance and Marketing in P&CB, responsible for integrating line of business strategies and executing marketing strategies. Prior to RBC, she was the Global Head of Operations and Chief Information Officer of the Investment Division of Manulife Financial, and served as President of Manulife Asset Management Canada and Global Chief Operating Officer. She has also held senior roles within State Street and Bank of Ireland, including leadership positions in the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and United Kingdom.
Jacqui was recognized as one of “Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women” by the Women’s Executive Network in both 2013 and 2018. She chairs the board of Up with Women, a nonprofit providing career coaching and support to formerly homeless women. She holds an MBA from the Bentley University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics and History from Queen’s University in Ontario.
