Lorena Guillé-Laris - Mexico | CSR Director and Executive Director, Cinépolis
Lorena Guillé-Laris is the Corporate Social Responsibility Director at Cinèpolis, based in Mexico City, Mexico. Lorena is an intrapreneur that has devoted her life to corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, next-generation leadership and human rights. Since 2006, she has been the Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Cinépolis and Executive Director of Fundación Cinépolis. She has led efforts to recover the sight of over 50,000 people suffering cataract blindness; bring the cinema experience to more than 700,000 people in rural communities; harness the power of film for social awareness and behavioral change; and use the installed capacity of Cinepolis to generate social value in the territories where the company operates. Lorena also founded and produced the first human rights film festival in Mexico, dhfest, and co-founded other initiatives such as Colectivo Primera Infancia, The Ethical and Human Rights Compliance Project, and Más Ciudadanía.
Lorena is member of the Global Philanthropist Circle and Nexus Global Youth Summit. She participates as a board member with the Tecnológico de Monterrey, the U.S.-Mexico Foundation, Pacto por la Primera Infanci, and Fundación Ramón Vargas. She is also a member of the advisory boards for EGADE Business School, the Women´s Forum for the Economy and Society, and Foro de Mujeres-Forbes Mexico. Lorena is mentor of entrepreneurs at the Unreasonable Institute Mexico and Endeavor MX. She has been recognized for her social leadership as one of the most influential women by Forbes Magazine (Mexico, 2015-2018), “Leader of the Future” by Líderes Mexicanos (México, 2010), and “Rising Talent” by the Women´s Forum (Paris, 2017). In 2015, Lorena was named “Intrapreneur of the Year” by Universidad Anáhuac. In 2017, she received the Excellence Award from Cinépolis, ranking her first place in performance for her category. She holds an Industrial Engineering bachelor’s degree and a Master of Public Policy and Public Administration from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.
Lorena is happily married to her husband Santiago, and is a mother to three wonderful children.

Susan Rucker is an independent board member at HDI Seguros, Exitus Capital, HDI Global and the ABC Hospital Foundation. She chairs the Audit Committee of HDI Global and Exitus Capital, and is a member of this committee at HDI Seguros.
Previously, Susan served on the boards of HSBC Seguros, HSBC Pensiones, HSBC Vida and the American School, and on the advisory board of Laudex, a successful Mexican fintech. Susan's 20-plus-year executive career at HSBC covered all business lines across 14 countries in Latin America, specializing in risk and control. She led compliance operations for the region, was Chief Risk Officer for Insurance, created the Operational Risk & Internal Control area, and approved corporate and institutional credits, among other roles. Prior to arriving in Mexico in 1996, she was Director of Credit & Risk at HSBC Spain.
In addition to her professional activities, Susan is a member o, Women Corporate Directors, EJE&CON and MBA Mujeres Mexico, as well as an Endeavor mentor. Previously, she headed up English-speaking troops in Mexico City for Girl Guides/Scouts and led numerous charitable and diversity initiatives within HSBC. She holds a BA in Economics from the University of Minnesota and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
