Lisa Lake - Jamaica | Group CEO Designate, Lake Group of Companies
Lisa Lake is the Group Chief Executive Officer Designate for the Lake Group of Companies, based in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Lisa is a skilled strategist with a clear focus on improving both the way people operate and the way profit is generated. She possesses over 15 years’ experience helping entrepreneurs and companies grow their profits and their team by honing in on their purpose. Her eye is always on scalability and identifying opportunities that can drive economic development and employment in the Caribbean.
As an entrepreneur herself, Lisa has played a key role in setting the foundation for growth at itelbpo, a customer contact center she founded with her husband in 2012. With over 2,000 employees, itelbpo is now the largest homegrown contact center in the Caribbean with a global footprint that extends into Mexico and the United States. As Group CEO Designate of the Lake Group of Companies, she has executive oversight of a number of companies spanning many industries, including Quick Service Restaurants, construction and development, as well as logistics and manufacturing. Her decisions have wide impact.
In 2011, Lisa built and launched the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean, a Jamaica-based business incubator seeded by Virgin Group’s founder, Sir Richard Branson. During this time, she was recognized by The Gleaner and the Private Sector Organizations of Jamaica as one of “50 Under 50” Business Leaders Shaping Jamaica’s Future. Lisa currently sits on a number of boards, including charitable initiatives such as the Branson Centre and Fairfield Academy. She holds a bachelor’s in Economics and a bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from Tufts University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also has a master’s in Public Administration and International Development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
Brenda Pope - IWF Barbados | Management Consulting Strategist, Global Integrated Fintech Solutions
Brenda Pope, BSc, MBA, CISA, CMC, is a Management Consulting strategist with over 40 years’ experience and a demonstrated track record in client transformational and change management assignments around organizational, process and technology improvement across the Caribbean. Currently Managing Director of ConsultBP, an independent consulting company specializing in technology-enabled transformation, Brenda is also a Director and Chief Project Officer at the fintech payment and solutions enterprise Global Integrated FinTech Solutions. Prior to her retirement as Advisory Partner at KPMG Barbados, for eight years she also held overall responsibility for KPMG’s management consulting services across the Caribbean.
Brenda has been Chairperson of Sport for Life! (Barbados) since its inception, is a trustee of Sport Legacy Foundation UK and Second Vice-Chair of the Royal Commonwealth Society Barbados. A committed Rotarian, she was the 50th and first female president of the Rotary Club of Barbados. Passionate about the need for excellence and quality in the consulting profession, she is a past president and current vice president of CICMC, and was the first Caribbean consultant designated a CMC-Global Accredited ISO 20700 Trainer – the global ISO standard for management consultancy services.
In 2012, Brenda was honored by the Information Society of Barbados for her contributions to the growth and development of ICT in Barbados over 30 years. Brenda serves on the board of LUMIN Consulting and other international business companies.
