Jamaica | Group CEO Designate, Lake Group of Companies
Lisa Lake is the Group Chief Executive Officer Designate for the Lake Group of Companies, based in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Lisa is a skilled strategist with a clear focus on improving both the way people operate and the way profit is generated. She possesses over 15 years’ experience helping entrepreneurs and companies grow their profits and their team by honing in on their purpose. Her eye is always on scalability and identifying opportunities that can drive economic development and employment in the Caribbean.
As an entrepreneur herself, Lisa has played a key role in setting the foundation for growth at itelbpo, a customer contact center she founded with her husband in 2012. With over 2,000 employees, itelbpo is now the largest homegrown contact center in the Caribbean with a global footprint that extends into Mexico and the United States. As Group CEO Designate of the Lake Group of Companies, she has executive oversight of a number of companies spanning many industries, including Quick Service Restaurants, construction and development, as well as logistics and manufacturing. Her decisions have wide impact.
In 2011, Lisa built and launched the Branson Centre of Entrepreneurship - Caribbean, a Jamaica-based business incubator seeded by Virgin Group’s founder, Sir Richard Branson. During this time, she was recognized by The Gleaner and the Private Sector Organizations of Jamaica as one of “50 Under 50” Business Leaders Shaping Jamaica’s Future. Lisa currently sits on a number of boards, including charitable initiatives such as the Branson Centre and Fairfield Academy. She holds a bachelor’s in Economics and a bachelor’s in Architectural Studies from Tufts University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She also has a master’s in Public Administration and International Development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School.
