Now in its 26th year, the Fellows Program was launched in 1994 with seed-funding from the U.S. Labor Department as a direct result of the Glass Ceiling Commission. The program annually convenes approximately 35 Fellows from around the world for a total of 20 days, offering customized leadership training for female executives on their path to the C-suite. The approach is holistic and focused on the participant’s personal and professional development, career path, and trajectory, while embracing the value of an outside perspective.
IMPORTANT – COVID-19 UPDATE
While the 2020-2021 Fellows Program is moving forward as planned with applications due by June 1, 2020, there are certain changes being made to accommodate the uncertain trajectory and challenges associated with COVID-19.
Anticipating travel will be restricted in October, the executive team has decided the selected 2020-2021 Fellows Class will launch their program year virtually on October 5th with weekly content delivered thereafter, throughout the month of October, including IWF World Leadership Conference sessions. It was an extremely difficult decision, but the safety and wellness of our Fellows and staff are of the utmost importance.
Given the revised start, IWF will add a day to the second program module at INSEAD and invite the 2020-2021 Fellows to attend IWF’s World Leadership Conference in Seattle in October 2021, ensuring the cohort has the same exposure to IWF’s membership and opportunity to create the deep connections other groups have forged. Below is the revised schedule:
Fellows Program Launch (Oct 5) + Once Weekly Sessions throughout the Oct.
March 8-12, 2021
INSEAD Executive Education Module in Fontainebleau, France
June 6-11, 2021
Harvard Business School Executive Education Module in Cambridge, MA
September 29-October 1, 2021
IWF World Leadership Conference in Seattle, WA
