Erika Taugher is lead contact for the US Power and Gas Retail Business at Macquarie Group, a global financial, advisory, investment and funds management company. She works with wholesale clients, assists with trading and execution, as well as structuring and origination of new deals. Erika has over ten years of experience working at investment banks. Prior to Macquarie, Erika worked for eight years at JPMorgan in London, New York and Houston. She worked on the Natural Gas Financial Derivatives Trading Desk, and also spent time on the Crude Oil Physical Trading Desk. Awarded a full athletic scholarship, Erika earned her Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master’s of Science in International Business from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She spent most of college working a fulltime job in addition to her soccer schedule. Ten years later, Erika still holds the school record for goals scored, game winning goals, total points, and most assists. She was elected Captain for Team Ontario and chosen to train with Team Canada from 2000 to 2004. Erika was originally born in Canada, but due to her ancestry was chosen to play with the Portuguese National Women’s Soccer team both in 2006 and 2007. She currently resides in Houston, Texas.
Julie Van Haren

Julie Van Haren is a senior vice president of Texas Instruments and is responsible for the company’s strategic communications, digital marketing, investor relations and public affairs organizations.
Prior to this role, she was vice president of communications and digital marketing leading the corporate communications and digital marketing teams. Throughout her career, Van Haren has held a number of leadership positions in internal and external communications supporting TI businesses, manufacturing and sales.
Van Haren joined TI in 1997, and has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, San Diego and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University.
In addition to her role at TI, she serves on the board of directors of the TI Foundation, the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and Camp John Marc. She is also the chair of TI’s Political Action Committee.
