Dana Morris Dixon currently serves as a senior executive at The Jamaica National Group (JN Group), one of the Caribbean’s leading business conglomerates with operations in several international markets. She has led major business expansions and M&A activities for companies in a wide array of industries and markets. She is currently on a one-year secondment to Jamaica’s central bank as an Advisor on the enhancement of Jamaica’s Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing framework. Dana previously served as Acting President and Vice President of Jamaica’s national trade and investment promotions agency, JAMPRO, as well as in senior roles in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade and the Office of the Prime Minister. Dedicated to serving the public good, she is Chairperson of Jamaica’s National Family Planning Board and Deputy Chairperson of the National Health Fund. She was also recently appointed as a Commissioner on the Jamaica Education Transformation Commission. Dana earned a BSc in Economics and International Relations as well as a MSc in Government from the University of the West Indies. A 2004 Fulbright Scholar, she graduated from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies with a PhD in International Studies.
