View the works of Spain’s three great masters: Francisco Goya, Diego Velázquez and El Greco at this venerated institution. A Prado curator will lead IWF members and guests on a unique exploration of the Prado’s art jewels and exhibits of European masters.

Museo Thyssen
The newest of Madrid’s three major art centers, the Thyssen is housed in the 18 th Century Villahermosa Palace. This ambitious collection traces the history of Western art from 13 th century Italian Gothic to 20 th Century American pop art. Join us on this IWF-only privately led tour.

Palacio Real
Built on the site of a Moorish Fortress, the Royal Palace was commissioned in the early 18th century by the first of Spain's Bourbon rulers, Felipe V. Join this private tour highlighting the Salón de Gasparini, King Carlos III's private apartments, with swirling, inlaid floors and the Salón del Tronofeaturing the royal thrones of King Juan Carlos and Queen Sofía and art treasures.

Cata de Vinos
In a nation known for its fine wines and abundance of over 50 wine growing regions, join IWF viticulturists and wine enthusiasts as a master wine expert guides us through the Spanish art of wine tasting. Private Viewing of the Varez Fisa Art Collection
IWF’s own, María Varez will lead us on a tour of the privately held Varez Fisa Art Collection featuring classical Spanish decorative arts and Chinese Tang and Han Ceramics. REGISTRATION INFORMATION

ATTIRE
Business attire is appropriate for daytime programs, cocktail attire is appropriate for the evening events. It is recommended that you prepare for a range of temperatures. It is unlikely to get very cold, although evenings can be chilly. At midday, the temperature can rise to warmer temperatures. Rain gear is recommended, as is a jacket to break-the-wind with temperatures averaging 57°F (14°C) during the day and evening lows averaging 44°F (7°C).

TRANSPORTATION
Madrid’s Barajas International Airport (MAD) is approximately nine miles from the Westin Palace Madrid and takes about 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic. Airport taxis are available and cost approximately € 25 (one way). Airport sedan service can be arranged by calling the Westin Palace Madrid Concierge at +34 91 360 80 00.

GUEST & YOUNG LEADER POLICY
We encourage you to invite and bring in addition to any other guest, a high-potential young woman of your choice, age 20-40, for this leadership exchange. Please note there is a special registration fee for guests and Young Leaders that entitles them to attend all sessions of the program except the Member Dine Around. We ask that you pre-register your guest and Young Leader on the enclosed registration form and pre-pay their fees at the same time your registration is paid. A "Guest Dinner" has been planned for Friday, May 19 th. A separate fee applies.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The member registration fee for the conference prior to April 1, 2006 is USD$425.00 and thereafter, is $495.00. The Dine Around and Flamenco Extravaganza events are ticketed and priced over and above the registration fee. Please see registration form for details. The guest registration fee prior to April 1, 2006 is USD$500.00 and thereafter, is $570.00. The Guest Dinner also is a ticketed event and is priced over and above the registration fee (see enclosed registration form). The Young Leaders/Fellows Alumnae registration fee for the conference prior to April 1, 2006 is USD$375.00 and thereafter, is $445.00. Young Leader's and Fellows are invited to attend the Guest Dinner and Flamenco Extravaganza events at the rates described in the enclosed registration form. CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations must be made in writing to the IWF by April 19, 2006 for a full refund (minus credit card processing charges for a maximum total of 8% of the registration fee). After that date, an additional cancellation fee of $50.00 per registrant will be charged. Cancellations received after May 4, 2006 are non-refundable.

HOTEL
Special guest room rates have been secured for IWF at the beautiful Westin Palace Hotel Madrid. The deeply discounted rate of € 225 for single or double deluxe applies. In order to secure that room rate, stricter cancellation rules apply. Please take note that rooms must be booked on or before May 4, 2006 in order to secure this rate, and that cancellations made on after 12:00 midnight Madrid time on May 4, or thereafter are non-refundable by the hotel for your full stay. Charges will not be made by the hotel to registrants’ credit cards until May 5. However, those charges are not refundable once made at that time. Guests seeking to book at the Westin Palace Madrid on May 5 or thereafter may do so on a space/rate available basis. The IWF rate is not guaranteed on or after May 5. If a higher rate is available, a different cancellation policy may apply. Please note when making your booking. Please fax the enclosed Accommodations Request Form by 12:00 midnight Madrid time on May 4, 2006 to the hotel via facsimile +34 91 360 77 78 and identify yourself as an attendee of the International Women’s Forum in order to receive the group rate. Reservations received after May 4, 2006 will be on a space and rate available basis.
