As part of their year-long program, the Fellows receive: Mentoring from IWF members, ongoing leadership training, extensive networking opportunities, the opportunity to attend the IWF World Leadership Conference, a customized week long educational program at the Harvard Business School, and a tailored four-day program at INSEAD - The Business School for the World®.
With the guidance of Harvard Business School faculty, the Fellows work collaboratively to solve case studies based on their own professional experiences, as well as receive tailored training in leadership, negotiation skills, and managing across cultures.
INSEAD, together with the Leadership Foundation, has designed a custom-tailored curriculum to extend the Fellows leadership capabilities to include a deeper global perspective. Also included is a 360° leadership assessment by experts at INSEAD's Global Leadership Center.
All in all, the program requires a commitment of 20 days throughout the entire program year, which runs from October through September. Some of the many contemporary topics that are covered during the training include:
