New York City Marathon Run for Women's Leadership Meets Its Goal

Allyson Maynard Gibson, Immediate Past President of the International Women's Forum (IWF), recently completed the New York City Marathon. The fuel for her amazing pace and marathon cause was the IWF Leadership Foundation, the educational arm of IWF. Having set a goal of raising $25,000 for her cause, Allyson was alerted hours before her run of a generous donation to bring her over the mark – a donation of $11,340. With this added inspiration, she completed the 26.2 mile race in 5 hours, 19 minutes and 13 seconds. Congratulations, Allyson!
