Begun in 1994, the Fellows Program is the flagship program of the Leadership Foundation and the only leadership training of its kind in the world…designed for high potential women of ethnic, professional and geographic diversity who have the potential to become tomorrow’s women chief executive officers and principal leaders. Each year, The Leadership Foundation selects more than 16 women from around the world with exceptional potential for this unique opportunity. Fellows receive executive training in conjunction with the IWF Global Leadership Conference and at customized programs at the Harvard Business School and the Cambridge University Judge Business School.
Participants are also matched with IWF Mentors who act as hands-on coaches and personal guides during the course of the year. Past and current Fellows come from 21 countries: Australia, the Bahamas, Canada, China, Denmark, Ghana, Hong Kong, Israel, Jordan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Tanzania, Uganda, the United Kingdom, and the United States. This unique aspect of the Fellows Program allows the Fellows to interact with women from all over the world.
The Fellows Program offers its participants unparalleled networking experiences and access to some of the most highly placed professional women in the world. IWF's membership includes women such as: Hillary Clinton, Sandra Day O'Connor, Madeleine Albright, Jane Pauley, Evelyn Lauder, Cokie Roberts, Dorothy Height and Sally Ride.
Consisting of 25 days over the course of the program year, the Fellows participate in:
