“Thank you IWF for everything. Jordan was fantastic! We are really fortunate to have this experience”.
Paloma Villasenor, Mexico
“I want to congratulate the leadership of IWF and IWF Jordan on the historic Amman conference. It just keeps getting better. I admire the way IWF encourages forums to be courageous enough to host a world conference and get members to be courageous to travel to places that not only expand their vistas, but also that accentuate the common bonds shared by preeminent world all over the world. IWF is making a difference.”
The Hon. Allyson Gibson, The Bahamas
“This is just to say a heartfelt thank you for the Amman Conference which was really a triumph all told. IWF and IWF Jordan can be very happy in the knowledge that such a splendid Cornerstone Conference was successfully organized!”
Pam Garside, United Kingdom
“Having received the photo journal of the Amman Cornerstone Conference, I was very sorry to have missed it. I can see why everyone has raved about it. I loved looking at everything and reading Queen Rania's speech. This was not only an IWF – but also a diplomatic triumph! Hats off to IWF and IWF Jordan and very loud applause. I'm so proud. Our organization is an important force on the planet.”
Susie Greenwood, Past President, IWF
“In the year 2000, Ruby Shamir and I co-chaired the Cornerstone Conference in Jerusalem. To that conference we invited a Jordanian speaker and a Palestinian speaker. The conference was a milestone in IWF's global development. This enabled Jordan to be exposed to IWF, its beauty and uniqueness. With the leadership of past IWF president Barbara Barrett, IWF Jordan was established four years later. Three years after that, we attended the Cornerstone Conference in Amman under the leadership of Reem Abu Hassan with a large delegation of Israeli participants. All of this could not happen without teamwork and trust. The Amman Conference turned out to be the biggest conference in IWF history. I am proud to be part of this great organization and congratulate IWF and IWF Jordan.”
Sara Meltzer, Israel
Congratulations to IWF and IWF Jordan for an amazing conference! Our members attending have shared their impressions of Jordan and the conference - with the overall themes being ones of personal friendships world wide, increased knowledge of a very complex area , and a desire to learn more in depth about the people, the politics and the geography and history of this vibrant and fascinating area, all of which will be shared at our upcoming a breakfast, on 7 June, with the Arab International Women's Forum to hear about Women Entrepreneurs in the Middle East.”
Kay Ellen Consolver, Chairman, Forum UK
“Marvelous, magical, meaningful! The Jordan Conference took us higher, and our view of the Middle East has been colored beautifully, thanks to IWF and IWF Jordan. The Illinois Women's Forum looks forward to joining the spirit of Jordan when you fly here to Chicago.”
Lynne O'Shea Nellemann, President, IWF Illinois
Co-Chair, 2007 IWF World Leadership Conference & Gala

“Congratulations IWF! This was a treat just to go “with you” through the web photo journal! Thank you. Having been around this organization from its beginnings, I am in awe of the leadership it took to pull this off. Let's take a moment and feel great about what's been accomplished. IWF truly is changing the face of leadership in the world – and, it is woman's. I am so very proud.”
